In addition to academic work, opportunities for other student activities abound student participate in different activities all the year round.
Occasionally debates are organised among the student groups on topics of contemporary interest and recognition is given to the winners through prizes and certificates.

| Annual Picnic : |
There is an annual picnic organised mostly towards the end of Fall semester in which all members of PUST Community participate. The picnic provides an opportunity for daylong outing accompanied by sports and cultural activities. This provides an atmosphere for developing fraternal relationship among the students and the University faculty and staff. |

Annual cultural program and sports are organised by the University authority mostly towards the end of every fall semester. |

| Programming Contest : |
We have already organised programming contest in every semester. At present it is our internal activity but we hope that in near future we shall be able to participate in nation wide and International contest. |
